Ramadurgam is a small village with a population of 5000 , in Kurnool district , Chippagiri mandal. The village was established at the times of the charismatic king Krishna deva raya. It was a watch fort of the empire . The main way of living for people is agriculture . Main towns near the village are Aloor & Halarvi . Electricity and Tap facilities came in the 1950's . The old Church in the village was then the second largest churh after the Madras Catholic church .
